Still far more effective than Davis & Schneiderlin. The latter was a bit of a liablity in the second half, reverting to his old bad habit of trying to turn blind in the middle of the park & losing the ball.
Did I I must've been totally pissed, I can't remember a thing ............. shove summat up that I posted so I can laugh at mesel
Gaston was looking really bright today, and it was a really good run. Such a shame with that injury. Foy was appalling.
I think fans would be a lot happier if the FA explained some of the decisions made by referee's and their assistants. For example, the Tiote goal last week, if the FA had come out and said it was offside, this is why, then everyone would better understand the rule, and if/when it happens again (as it almost did today with Brown offside and Fletcher shooting) there is then a clear rule that has been set. So for the challenge on Ramirez, they should come out and say whether it's allowed or not, otherwise following through can be taken to be allowed as long as you get the ball (didn't Schneiderlin get the ball against Newcastle which caused it to kick-off?). Unfortunately, I don't think a revolution in the way referees are held accountable, and how consistency is applied, is coming any time soon, despite what Riley might say (what happened to recording referees' conversations?)
My ankle bent over exactly like that a few years back, accompanied with a massive "CRACK!" noise, so was very surprised when it was only severe bruising with the noise being a ligament.
How many more times are we going to throw points away because we switch off. Feel sorry for Gaston, been getting back into the swing of things in the last 3 games. Looked excellent when he came on, now looks like he'll have a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Lovren's injury bad too. Time for Madam Liebherr to open the chequebook I feel... Didn't Brown get sent off for bugger all earlier in the season. So they do all balance out over the season. I don't feel better yet and I'm not even bothered about not winning.
Yeah, Vic would have been crucified for that. Not his best game, Mrs Godders will need to have a word.
We should have had it wrapped up, yes. But, they didn't press us that much. We just played it like a training game.
Yeah, when I'm ready, not when some knacker tells me to ........... in the meantime perhaps you could back up your claim
Right here: http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...s-match-thread-Southampton-FC-Football/page10 The last several pages are all you.
Aren't you the guy who took huge offence to some mild WUM'ing from Olly and decided to spam all the threads on our board in highly obnoxious fashion to 'teach him a lesson'?
Poyet bemoans the injuries to Dejan and Gastón, saying that they stopped the game and meant Sunderland lost their momentum. Wow.
A lot of very good sides would have caved in today, we were still trying to play football in injury time, believeing we could get a winner, no bus parking for our lot.
Yeah I remember now ............ in rataliation to another one of your daft ****ers coming on the Sunderland board posting ****e. "Even one of your own, to his credit, asked him what the **** he was doing."
