Not quite sure you can say that from this game. Obviously that's a bad challenge on Gaston but it's hardly like he meant to injure him.
Before this game I would have killed for a point, I am now disappointed we didn't get all of them! Just profligate finishing and injuries at the wrong time, plus a dicky GK, that was a brave effort in the end.
Browns studs were up. Just because they got a touch in the ball doesn't make it a good tackle. The horror is that the missed foul lead to Lovren getting injured
Is following though not a foul any more? If is isn't the premier league is going to see a lot of serious injuries. No idea what happened to Lovren, didn't look to bad.
Losing Gaston like that is nasty, especially when he seemed to be finding some semblance of form, but God I hope Dejan hasn't broken his shin or some such. Should have taken the win but not too disappointed to take the point and move on.
Gaston got clattered from behind. Nailed on foul and there's a strong argument that it was worth a red card. My gut feeling is Gaston would have scored if he wasn't fouled. Play ran on and it led to Lovren getting injured. Foy is a f**king idiot.
Should have won, but when they got a goal so early after our second I was happy not to lose. The injuries are more of a concern...hope not as bad as people think.
There's always the chance Boruc was covering up an injury that'll keep him out for another few weeks, too. Yeah it wasn't a good day.

Not looking good today re injuries. Lovren one didn't even look as bad as was. Gaston just is bad and boruc looked either ill or covering an injury.
A point is just about okay but Sunderland were utter ****e for almost all the first half so we should really have been home and dry by half time. Ramirez is a disappointing loss because I felt the little we saw of him today showed his improvement is continuing. Losing Lovren for an extended period could be a disaster.
What started out as a great day ended up going pretty ****ing sour. But at least we came away with a point away from home.
Think its an ankle break for Gaston and ankle ligaments for Lovren (at a guess). Such a strange game and one that should have been enjoyable ended up painful, litterally. Sunderland are utter gash, three shots on target, two goals... heard that before from teams attacking us. Lets hope its better than it looked for Gaston and Dejan. Fingers crossed.
