Yeah, he was great and he had one of those distinctive voices perfect for Jackanory, like Bernard Cribbins and Geoffrey Palmer. I never used to like One Foot In The Grave, but I've been watching it lately and have laughed my arse off. Re-runs of Sorry are a hoot, too. Language, Timothy!
Stewart Lee is ****ing brilliant But you're a backwards ****wit that's probably never seen a real town. If you ever saw him live you'd never call him unfunny.
You're a typical Lee fan you ****ing ******ed liberal arsewipe, laughing at the pretentious ****, "ooh look at me, I'm intelligent , I'm laughing at Stewart Lee cos I pretend to get him" Get to **** you gay little ****er, you're a ****ing knobhead.
In fairness, Stewart Lee is a ****. He can be reasonably funny, but mostly he's a ****. When it comes to stand-up, I go with Richard Pryor as the main man, closely followed by Bill Hicks and Jeff Green.
How much of his material have you seen? Some of it is weird and drags on a bit, but when he's good he's brilliant. OFAH is definitely more your level of comedy
Lots of it drags on and, often, negates the bit that was funny because he's just a bit of a self-righteous fanny. I don't dislike him per se, but he's not brilliant.
He doesn't jump around on stage like Russell Howard, no. He's got a couple of seasons of Comedy Vehicle coming up, I saw him practice a couple of episodes for it a few months back. It's going to be great
****ing Russell Howard. Boy's a tit - ***** student humour. Every time I've ever seen anything he's done, it involves a monkey impression on a swing.
Jim Davidson and Roy Chubby Brown. Classic comedy, back when no one got offended and everyone laughed along together. Domestic abuse!? HAHAHAHA! Racism!? HAHAHAHAHA! Sexism!? HAHAHAHAHA! Now it's all PC bollocks, and I sound like ER
