He's the biggest cock with the smallest balls on the planet. An absolute coward of a man who will live off the excuse of "My hands were tied" once Admin 2 kicks in.

I honestly struggle to understand how so many fans think he is some legendary stalwart who does his all for the club, when in reality he's a fence-sitting imbecile.

I used to think I knew a bit about accounting but the dear old teddy berrs have me stumped.

How can you be playing in the third division, with 36,000 season ticket holders and having raised £22 million in a share issue just over a year ago, and already be down to your last £3 million and losing £1 million a month?

56 players (is that right, maybe Dev knows?) is ridiculous but £6 million is still only a third of turnover, which looks almost modest and certainly belw the 50% that is widely held as being the benchmark of a properly run club. Something rotten in the state of Skidmark?

Absolutely, but that much? I can't believe that. Mibbe they should switch the heating off or install those energy saving bulbs?

Murray Park and Ibrox will be a drain but not (IMO) a big enough one to account for this. Somewhere else there is a huge big hole with money pouring into it. I'd love to see their books.

Relatively speaking yes. They could afford it when they were charging £600 per season ticket, but now that they are only charging £300 a season ticket those 2 are putting a big strain on their cash flow. Its their turnover that has changed drastically.

I'm sure their accounts are online on there website like Celtic's are.

It wouldn't matter if you did get to see them.... They wouldn't believe what you told them.

I just can't grasp why he'd say, "Selling folk? Aye, well I won't be. i'll be loyal to the players, the fans, the club". Well, if you did your job as manager, you'd probably sit the squad down - rather than letting a ****ing player do it - let them know some of them MIGHT be sold and then start compiling a list of the top earners and dead wood who the squad could do without, who would free up wages and who would command some form of transfer fee, if any. Yet he goes public and manages to play it as if he's doing everyone a great service by refusing to play any part in having to cut costs.

He's just a moron whose first concern every time he has to be involved in a tough decision is, "How will this make me look?" His job isn't one of popularity anymore, it's one which potentially involves saving the club, his own job, those of his players, the staff blah blah blah.

So long as he manages to look like he did his all by being loyal, dignified and providing a decent stream of "fight them on the beaches" quotes, he'll continue to take his wage and do his bit to bury the club all over again.

And aye, I've no idea why i'm ranting this at you, Gambol, or why I even seem to care so much.

    They are, Eric.

But some really interesting 'holes' that are nothing to do with ongoing costs:

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/analysis-qa-on-the-rangers-accounts.1380714955

"£13.3m attributed to "other operating charges","

    Nice big juicy smokescreen.

From the article: "What has happened to the money raised in the IPO?

In effect, it has been spent, even though the share prospectus said that the money would not be used for working capital. Property assets have been purchased in Edmiston House (£800,000) and the Albion car park (£1.6m). A further £2.2m was invested in stadium improvements, such as improving advertising hoardings and the large screens. Edmiston House will need to be refurbished before it provides income, however, and unless income streams improve there does not appear to be enough cash available to fund any renovation work. £6.75m was also spent "to acquire the assets from the administrators". Rangers were due £16.1m in proceeds from the £22m raised in the IPO, which makes the costs involved to be £5.9m. The prospectus projected the costs to be £2.5m.

Green at el bought the club for £6 million, then they recouped all of that money from the share issue. In other words, buying the club for sweet FA.

Isn't that a bit like what Whyte did?

Lol fantastic. Get the fans to pay for their club but they keep ownership of it. Green and whyte are class acts at fooling people. They have done the rangers fans up like a kipper.
