I can't decide which character I was the most freaked out by. The "customer" who really needed a bath was pretty weird.

Ahhhh Spirited Away, now there's a random film. The water train was the best bit! I preferred Kiki's Delivery Sevice tbh, you should watch that, it's by the same guy.

Then there's also Howl's Moving Castle (which I've never seen), Princess Monoke (which I've seen a bit of), My Neighbour Totoro (which I have recorded but never seen). and quite a few others. Meowth would be the person to talk to, he's the anime expert.

I also recommend Fruits Basket although it's nothing to do with Studio Gibli, but still awesome!

Oh no. Poor little thing. It was always a suspicious incident so not surprised someone has been arrested.

The mother has been arrested....how sadly unsurprising.

Didn't want to speculate about the family but it did point to them. The one night the little boy is not sleeping in the same room as his twin sister he gets up in the middle of the night, gets dressed and leaves the house without anyone noticing. I've got a two year old boy and wake up to any slight noise from his room. The mother would have heard something I am sure of it.

I'm beginning to think a licensing system to have children needs to be introduced. I can not think about a person taking their own child.

Yeah - I thought it was good, but honestly not as good as everyone has been making out. It does have Omar from The Wire in though...

I can never understand anyone ill treating or torturing a child, but a one off burst of anger with tragic consequences I can understand. The difference is that most people who did such a thing would call the police, hand themselves in and demand punishment. Poor little lad.

Try Princess Monoke (spelling?) I thought it was really enchanting. It was a long time ago however, and I seem to remember nursing a hefty hangover.
