We are 10th in the Premier League just over half way through the season and we have a strike force worth in excess of 14 million and hopefully a potent strikeforce in the coming weeks. I am looking up the league instead of over our shoulders behind us. We have world-wide publicity. I am just getting ready to go and see probably the greatest Hull City team ever (IMO). Life (in a football sense) has never been so good for us. Isn't this just what we all dreamed of happening one day. I sure did. Thank you Dr Allam and Steve Bruce.

You do realise that this £14m is a loan from Allam to Hull City? He has given absolutely nothing and indeed does very well out of the deal, charging a very healthy by today's standards 5% on the current total of £72m loaned. He isn't being generous, he is making money from every penny he lends to us.

I completely fail to grasp why anyone thinks MR Allam is a either a generous or good owner. For me he's the worst owner in our entire history, even surpassing David Lloyd.

Mike Ashley charges zero per cent interest on his loans to Newcastle United.

He is not GIVING us anything! I'm sat in a hotel in Norwich! Looking forward to seeing a quality city line up! But I still hope AA does take his bat & ball home! Owners should be fans of the club and show some humility to us the fans! And not talk to us like we're a piece of ****! Let's win today and put us in the shop window to potential buyers!

I don't want to get into this argument but it's an interesting point... I'd probably invest my money into the team if I could get 5 pc return... That's not bad at all

25 years of love and money. I can promise you this - I've paid far more into the club's coffers than MR Allam has and I've never made a penny back from it.

What has HE ever given the club?

Spot on post kilham tigers, the vast majority of right thinking proper supporters will certainly agree.

Mike Ashley is a darn sight richer and can structure his tax affairs in way the Allams can't.
As for the interest payments, what is wrong with that? Try getting seventy million cheaper from bank.

And one again a positive post turns into an Allam hating thread. I'm with Kilham. I'm excited about the future, about our new players and hopefully a bit longer in the Premier League. I recall a large group of fans holding up a banner at the end of last season saying 'Thank You Mr Allam'. I don't believe this should change.

Serious point then - perhaps I'm wrong but what exactly are we thanking him for?

...and cars should be made out of marshmallows so no one can get run over.

I am fine with him saying whatever he wants to us..
HE has dipped his hand into his pocket and put his own cash into the club which is more than any of you hypocritical ****s have done!

BUT what I can not abide by is the fact that he is charging us a healthy interest rate on top of the monies he has loaned us.
I think we should call his ****ing bluff and tell him to get the **** out and stay away from Hull City.
He won't walk away from this golden goose and to be honest it sickens me that some of you sheep think we should be thankful!
