I didn't want my girls ears pierced young... but didn't have hugely strong opinions about it. My wife on the other hand was desperate to have the girls ears pierced... so I let her pierce them. I definately treat my son different from my girls although I try not to. I'm much more cuddly with my girls...
at least in america you do not have the issue of wife wanting to pierce boys ear... I HOPE! Here I have laid down the law. my daughter will be old enough to be really scared when her ears are pierced. 7.... also for gerrez on 'ther thread. i named both babies. she had a name first time but when she came out then it didn't suit and she was scratching head. i offered suggestions and suddenly its oh you got to pick the name... f off... I'm picking his name end of I said.. and it worked.
I'm sure some muppet was running around school like eric cartman making that up... you googling it doesn't necessarily mean 10 year old class mates are really organising dates.. Its all good fun i'm sure when you get to come into school and brag you know all about it and fill others with that stuff. I'm sure some classmate... like kenny or kyle or even eric told him I'm sure he believed it all such is the wont of ten year olds spellbound b the guy i nthe know.
