" ... we had a very good meeting. The staff had their say and the players also had their say. Everyone chipped in and we made good progress. I made it clear what my plans are for the team and for the football club, and where I want this club to be. We have made great strides in a short space of time, and a few negative results won't distract me from the direction I am going in, and driving this club forward. We are hurting after Rochdale and Wednesday, and we are determined to put things right. Now it is time to focus on Leicester and get the right result." There you go, now the players need to show the same desire and play Leicester off the park. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
He will be saying goodbye if he hasn't given his head a shake and set the team up with desire and a formation that gets us in the game. We will know within three minutes how this is going. If we keep on conceding ground and not tackling we will get humped and Malky will be the new boss by wednesday? I really don't want Malky at ER.
A few negative results, lost 10 league ones so far and not to mention disgrace in cups. A load of bollox in my humble opinion, but what do I know
If those players don't turn up again tomoz, bye bye Brian, because he will have failed to spark them after a few disgraceful results. Those players should be hurting and if they aint they are not backing the manager I'm afraid and he's lost the dressing room. REACTION PLEASE BOYS
Why will it be goodbye? If your owners are too skint to splash out £500k on a new player why would the pay Brian off?
He will leave by mutual consent for a compromise agreement pay off. About half his remaining contractual pay.
Whats Lomas at this weather? Did he find work? Would have all the ingredients to manage us. Cheap and would help lower expectations further among fans
If the **** performances carry in we lose an average 10,000 of the gate each game. ££1M would be paid. Wouldn't you love to have 10,000 fans just turning up.
I don't think he will be sacked, even if we lost. I also hope he isn't sacked. Some of you guys would have wanted Revie sacked when he started poorly.
I don't want him sacked. But I still think he has lost the plot and the dressing room. The problem is Haigh. But he who pays the piper calls the tune.
There is no point in sacking him when no manager is going to be properly backed and we have owners that know zilch about football. Most can see that I think at this point
The owners didn't pick the pathetic formation used against Wednesday though did they? I'm sure they didn't tell him to leave Smith and Byram on the bench either, or his own £1m signing Murphy come to that. Nice enough man though he is, I really can't see any way back for McDermott after that, I just don't think the players have any faith in him or his methods/tactics, which is a real shame as he has genuinely good intentions. He wasn't dealt a good hand but he played the cards he was dealt with, but over the last few games he just seems to have totally lost the plot. There's no logical explanation for not resting key players at Rochdale, or for his selection/formation at Wednesday.
Revolution you tool, I don't think anyone on this site has called for his head unlike other sites. I'm saying that somethings wrong and if he's not able to sort it its because he's lost the players. We may get beat tomoz but so what its the league leaders, its all about performance if those players turn out with no left tit and no idea then I'll bet you anything you want BMcD is gone. He'll probably resign himself.
Want a bet? Let's say: If we lose by more than 3 goals tomorrow, I believe he will stay on? Friendly bet obviously, like a fiver?
