****, I thought this was the Sunderland board? I didn't realise it was the 'Chunky the man with the pineapple balls' board. <doh><doh><doh>

Get the **** over it man and stop complaining. Just be grateful that I'm a mag who tries to just participate in good discussions about football instead of one who continually tries to disrupt everything. I really have no qualms at all with any mackems who like to come over to our board and participate in discussions properly (like blackcatsteve, for example, and a few others).

Re-read it and I'm still worried.

A lot of people thought Bent going was a WUM.
They only believed it when he was sitting in Brum with the frog.

This could be proof that David Cameron is officially running our football club....cuts, cuts, cuts here there and everywhere but we're not seeing any improvements!!

It's all probs just lazy journos trying to flog a few extra papers but if I don't hear anything from the club to deny this in the next day or two I'll not be happy!!

Ghanasoccernet directly quoted the Daily Mirror article.

Infact their title "Shock as Sunderland put up Asamoah Gyan for sale" is so unashamedly matter of fact about Mirror speculation it makes me want to cry.

Sunderland have made it clear they are prepared to sell star striker Asamoah Gyan after an email declaring his availability was circulated to top Premier League clubs, the Daily Mirror reports.

The Ghanaian star is set to be moved on by boss Steve Bruce, who wants to raise more money to remodel his squad following the sale of midfielder Jordan Henderson to Liverpool for £20 million.

The email containing Gyan's name was a 'for sale' list sent to several Premier League outfits by an agent who works closely with the Black Cats. The forward was said to be the only 'surprise' name on the list.

Gyan moved to the Stadium of Light from French side Rennes in a £15 million deal last summer. He found the net 10 times in his debut season in the Premier League.

The email did not contain an asking price for Gyan, but interested parties were told to direct their inquiries to the North East agency that sent the list.
