Is that why his best mate "chops" was shipped out. How long has this been planned. Plus is it easier to play away with a certain person
Poor ****ers. As if they didn't have enough problems with just being Welsh, they now have this ****ing embarrassment to contend with. Tch! Tch!
Bruce has never disgraced himself by either playing for, managing or for that matter, relegating your lot though. Step forward Mary Poppins who has done all 3? Well done Agent Alan.
If I was to manage a club like Cardiff , I would want a hell of a lot of money in exchange. Can't blame him for that. Alan Shearer will never be remembered for that though. He'll be remembered for the 206 goals he scored for us , leading out his local team , breaking Jackie Milburn's record at the Gallowgate , scoring a few against you , leading us out on tens of European nights at St James' , leading us to consecutive top 4 finishes under the late Sir Bobby and for turning down Man United's big money to play for his boyhood team. Fair enough , as a manager he didn't do too well , but managing a team low on morale and confidence , with 8 games to go including games against Tottenham (A) , Chelsea , Liverpool (A) and a few other tricky ties wasn't exactly an ideal scenario. In my opinion , had he taken over 8 games before that , we would have stayed up , as by the time he got to know his squad we were down. And at the end of the day , relegation was the best thing that ever happened to our club Sold all the deadwood , kept only the players who wanted to be here , and restructured the wage structure.
