It's not like when RFC popped it - they don't have massive debts or liabilities this time.

They can avoid admin - they just need to sell their more expensive players and cut the wages.

As well as the massive squad (can't remember how big it is exactly - Dev might need to remind me <laugh>), Pieface is still on £825,000 <rofl>

His wages are currently 578% of David Cameron's <laugh>

If he takes the £400,000 wage cut (which isn't quite 50% by the way), he will still be on 298% of the Prime Minister's combined wages made up of his MP's salary and the First Lord of the Treasury top up <laugh>

So, if Ally takes his much-lauded pay cut, he's still on nearly treble what the top paid politician in the country is on.

Plus, who's going to pay good money for Scottish lover division players? A few Championship clubs might come sniffing but they pay peanuts for SPL players never mind diddy lower division players.

Still, they have ways of bringing cash in and cutting down on their expenditure.

It'll be hard but Daly and Wallace could be punted down south (no-one in Scotland is stupid enough to pay those wages at the moment).

When Rangers went bust, it was unavoidable due to the stoating liabilities they had.

They don't really have that this time - they just need to cut down what they're currently spunking out.

If a company with no debts goes into administration, I'd be genuinely surprised.

It'd be quite a ****ing achievement actually <laugh>

The only reason for them having little debt is due to no ****er giving them credit!

Once the cash dries up they wont have anything to pay wages, bills etc and thats when the creditors build up.

Atleast these lot are attempting to address it before they have the creditors at the door!

As for players they could sell.....honestly don't see them raising alot from it. Will be interest in a few players but mainly due to the fact that most clubs know they can get a cheap player in.

The whole squad would struggle to get a £1m imo. Roughly 5 of that squad may play above league 1 in England, hardly going to be a massive auction for Daly!

I'd be surprised if anyone paid anything.

The only way is to give them away. Then they'll have to find someone to pay the same wages who wants them.... That ain't gonna happen very easily. Why get off the gravt train?

Players wages aren't actually the problem its the millions it costs to run ibrox, murray park etc. To survive they need to ditch them as its currently unsustainable.

Not trying to get into technicalities, but honouring contracts is a liability and therefore a debt. They owe all those players the full amounts stipulated in their contracts and if they are unable to honour those debts then they enter administration to claim protection from their creditors, i.e. their own players <whistle>

I'm not sure, but I think under UEFA rules football creditors come first before any other, which means several Polish cleaners and some random pie makers are going to get done again.

I dunno. 17 points clear already. Even with a 25 point deduction they can still make it back up to win the league. Big issue for them has got to be is that if they cant afford the team they have now how can they afford one to challenge celtic in years to come? Yes income may increase back in the spl ( not by much) but they still wont be able to fund a team anywhere near good enough to try to win the league.

The only way to get income would be to win the spl and get to cl. But theyd have to pay a team good enough to do that! Which they cant
