I'll be wrecked. 2pm flight from San Antonio on the Friday. 3 flights later arrive at 11am, straight to the Black Garter. Not had a real pint since April. Can't wait to beat these horrible ****ers

My connecting flight is in Chicago which is notorious for delays, and I only have an hour to get through customs so I'm worried. If I make it I'll treat myself to a breakfast of lager at Heathrow!

I'd be all for cross board threads on derby days for sure. There would have to be a clear undestanding that everyone who joins in should expect it to get rather hot in the kitchen and that it's no place for over sensitivities and associated beel.

 

Aye, out of the last 4 trips to LA I've been escorted to a private waiting area twice at LAX for additional questioning... usually relating to my numerous Turkish visa stamps... as well as being subject to extra searches at LHR on the outbound leg.
Adds at least 20 minutes onto what is a very long journey for me.
I have a new ESTA this time so hopefully those incidents were just blips.

You do look like a very dodgy character to be fair. If I worked in customs I'd probably stop you too. And it doesn't help that you take all those animals with you when you travel - what's that all about?

 

There's nothing wrong with travel teddies.

It's nuts in the US being me. I'm tall blonde and blue eyed so if they are continuing to employ racial profiling as a filter.. they are a little wide of the mark. Unless they think I'm out on the extreme right.
Note to self... must stop wearing my light brown shirt with my black doc martens.

You shouldn't carry so many pics of naked red heads in your luggage. The Customs guys will want to scrutinise them very carefully.

Never had a problem with customs at any USA Airport. More or less waved straight through.
