Liverpool have a number of players that have won multiple European Cups.Man Uniteds ''unholy trinity'' won the same number as Milan Baros,Igor Biscan and Djimi Traore.

 

With the risk of being repetative.............. NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY IS QUESTIONING WHAT KENNY ACHIEVED AS A PLAYER...... What is so ****ing hard to understand about that ?

First of all Fergie had a great strike rate in Scotland. Better than kennys aswell ( I could be wrong, i just remember doing this on 606 and i am sure fergie came out on top ). 170 goals in 317 games. He had a great record in his short stay at Rangers aswell.

Fergie was anything but a suitcase manager. He was successful at East Stirling, a club who barely had a squad and he became St Mirren manager on the advice of Jock Stein. they did sack him however lol.

He then went to Aberdeen, who he turned into the best team in scotland. Similar to taking Aston Villa or Everton today and turning them into PL Champions and Europa League winners. He has managed Scotland as a caretaker after Jock Steins death and has been the most successful manager in English football.

As a player he was no Kenny Dalglish, granted KPR. As a manager hes head and shoulders above. Hes appetite for winning is amazing. Hes made every club hes been at better than when he started. Hes a hero to United and Aberdeen and as I said he was quite the prolific goal scorer.

Kenny was a superb player. Better than Best? Not for me but as you pointed out his trophy haul is much bigger but if we measure on trophies then Ryan Giggs is one of the very best and puts all Liverpools players to shame on that front.

As a manager he took over the dominant Liverpool side of the 80's. the greatest Blackburn side in 100 years and Newcastles best side in half a century. He also managed Celtic, a team where not winning a trophy should result in death as its that easy. Hes never had a challenge until now. Now he had his work cut out so lets see how he does.

Fergies been there and done it. Mid table United to the best in the land. Small time Aberdeen into scottish kings.

No problem. But nobody has questioned what Kenny has achieved in his career have they ? Nobody has devalued his career at all. United fans even respect what he achieved with his career so I don't think it's us with the problem ?

United fans have not questioned Kenny playing career. If anything they admire it. We haven't disagraced it nor have we bought in the debate dead players from your club like the classy KPR has

You and I both know thats wrong. there are players in our team now, players who have just retired and players who have played for us over the years who indeed come close to Ken.

We are saying there is no point trying to argue about it as we agree that his playing career record is outstanding.
