Fair play mate. What a legend he was/is...........

 

I was lucky enough to meet him when he came over to Hull to give a talk - a great player but most of all just a smashing man. Modest and also a great story teller.

Met him numberous times and chatted with him on the way to ER, he owned a pub in Churwell, massive frame of a guy, but a gent with it, he loved to chat about the game, and he loved his time in Italy, as long as you talked sense all was good with BIG John.
