If we gained a loan spot ,id like to get either a left back orrrrrrr an up n coming attacking midfielder with a bit of pace
A pretty fair and agreeable summary of how I feel too CeeGee. It's not like anyone can claim he hasn't had a chance too. Couldn't score in a brothel springs to mind. Worth a try, didn't work, don't let the door hit your arse (it'd probably miss tbh) on the way out.
according to Everton Forum some think we have a bargain in Jelavic, others are pleased to see the back of him.
Would love to get in a creative mid, but when Aluko and Brady come back we should be ok, so yeah maybe a left wing to put pressure on Fig and Brady.
Could it be then that Nick Powell from MU will replace Danny Graham as our 2nd loan ? Unless of course Jake Livermore makes his mark here on a full contract. I think we have a bargain. Jelavic is a first touch player and with the chances we create in and around the box he should be able to fill his boots.
This may sound like an odd thing to say - but I think he'll either be absolutely amazing or absolutely ****e. I just cant see him 'doing ok'. Does that make sense?
Yes. Older fans on here will remember 2 classic players. Alf Wood when @ Millwall and Derek Hales @ Charlton. Both scored goals for fun at those clubs but when they moved to Hull and Derby respectively they made Danny Graham look like a goal machine. Strange but true. I think that our luck has to change re. a goal scorer and Jelavic will be Windass - Campbell and Folan (all in one) from 2007/08 season).
I appreciate Graham's effort but he just isn't good enough and needs to drop down a division to get his confidence back. I'd be very happy if he left and we loaned someone else in.
What's all this myth about all the chances we create? We create sod all. Finishing hasn't really been the problem, getting the chance to finish has been our biggest problem.
