True. I'm projecting to if MP goes. Then I rather suspect your loyalty to RL will prove a whole lot stronger than the reverse. That's all.
"Bummed." Which does not have some of the connotations in American that it might have in English. Though perhaps that makes it even more appropriate for y'all.
Still, his 40k a week contract makes him an employee of Southampton football club. Not Mauricio Pochettino or Nicola Cortese. He won't all of a sudden decide he want's to join a team 17th in the premier league just because the chairman has left.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...all-ousted-man-Saints-fans-believe-again.html This article is bizzare. It actually claims players were threatening to leave the club this morning...surely bull ****.
Club or Cortese? Thats the thing, Cortese has bought the players and got them to buy into his idea, negotiated contracts etc. They have all bought into cortese's Southampton Way. The actual club and its fans are below ambition and money. Thetly bought into an idea which is no more. Couldn't blame them for now going for lucrative contracts.
Depends. If he and other players were turning down pay raises elsewhere because they believed this club was heading for something special, this is the sort of event that might change their minds.
Which he's unlikely to do in so many words. Love is blind Olly, and obsession is odd. But we just don't know right now. I'm putting you on suicide watch if he does go though!!?
I'm off to bed but I've just watched the old interview at the bottom of this page (not the clip at the top) and Cortese's comments from about 1:30 to about 3:00 are very interesting. I wonder...?
OK, so I am confused and cant be bothered to scroll through loads of pages that may answer my following concerns and questions. NC has left the club because from we have been told by the media KL wants to sell the club OR wants to be more involved in the day to day running of the club. IF she wanted to sell the club why would she make a statement on the OS saying that business goes on as usual and she is looking for a new CEO? And if she does want to sell who would come in knowing that their job may well be over when there is a takeover? From what I remember the death of her father left a legacy and NC was a large part of that, I would be surprised though if his departure made a big difference to that and she gave up on SFC. In my opinion the Leibherr family will continue with the club out of loyalty to their father and all this for sale stuff is bollocks. Your thoughts please.
Just revisited something I posted back in November and back in the summer. I posted on SaintsWeb that Cortese had resigned from the MALI boards and boards of Markus' old investments. He'd also had his signature revoked on all businesses. Should've probably meant more at the time.
I didn't read a tonne into it because someone else -- who had been added at the same time -- was revoked shortly before, once their duties had ceased in winding up some of MALI's subsidiaries, and it looked like a return to business as usual for the conglomerate. Looks as if Katerina has a slightly different idea of business as usual than I do.
it was assumed that he was only caretaking during probate wasn't it. if anything I thought it demonstrated a strength of his involvement in the family that he had been trusted with the MALI group for some time. :mr wrong:
