Sorry I meant Cortese. Thanks. It was my understanding though that the dead owner had written some sort of arrangement that meant his estate would support the club long after his death. Seems a bit daft that his daughter not liking football would put and end to that.

IF massive IF i know, but if Pochetino does leave this month then it could well go down hill fast if the best players also jump ship. I suspect that the Saints will be sold between now and the summer. But who will be the buyer and nwill it be Cortese with new backers ? Twt as always. Saints are about safe from the drop now imo.

Saints fan here. Thankfully it's all back to normal. Pochettino staying, no players will be leaving and the club is not for sale.
Joe Kinnear is Director of Football. I don't think you need anything happening above him for there to be craziness there. Apparently it related to it happening during the summer, and Cortese has told the manager to go out and win so it doesn't undermine the season. I can't remember the interview I saw him say it in, but it came across as "I'm staying" but was worded in a way that suggested it was a case of "until the summer when it's easier for the club to replace me after I walk out" so there might be an announcement a few days after the season ends.
