Of course it is! But just watched City thrash Blackburn and we are surely going to start around 100-1 outsiders. I suppose you never know........<yikes>

The sad thing is that even if they put a 'weak' squad out, we're still facing over several million pounds worth of players...(as in over 100M)

I still believe in our chances of getting a favourable result, it just kind of ruins the odds, especially after Pellegrini's comments about trying to win everything they can this season...

As I was watching that game I was thinking that the day of the "shock result" is all but finished when it comes to these clubs. It will be a result if we can equal or better last seasons visit.

FA cup......a complete waste of time in my opinion, the milk/carling/ league cup is much better because the big clubs put out their reserves thereby giving the rest of the also-rans a bit of a chance!

100-1 are not very generous odds!

Notice that loss to Bayern Munich though and who needs Ribery when you have Anya - game on...........

Give it a couple of years and your club's fans will be walking around with buckets outside, just like Pompey.

A shambles of a club followed by idiots <ok>

No jealousy will not I agree, but being solvent and not having Harry Redknapp as coach will.

And we have arrived further in the cup this year than your team.

I guess the hope is City decide to rest a few key players and under-estimate us a little, with maybe their minds focussed on the other 3 trophies they are going for - but it's unlikely.

Last year it seemed we thought it was a good test of where we were in comparison to the Premiership, with us hoping to go up. This year it seems we just don't want to get hammered and damage morale too much!

Wouldn't be surprised if this is on TV too, seeming how much the channels love showing the big teams, no matter the likelihood of an upset!

I for one believe we have a chance. Maybe I am too optimistic and do wear yellow tinted glasses too often but have you ever tried using Serengettis? The vision is so clear and sharp and points to us nicking this one when the lads play out of their socks.

City were not great in the first half but very sharp in the second. We need two first half performances from them and Negredo, Aguero and Dzeko to go down with flu.

On the bright side it will give some of the trolls whose sides won't be playing that day a little bit of entertainment - bless 'em.

They've already announced the TV fixtures.

Most of the big teams are shown apart from City and of course Man U who went out.

Lloyd to score the winner after a mazy run through the City defence.

Yep - at that stage it will be 1-1 after City's dodgy penalty was negated by a Deeney pile driver ending a swift counter attacking movement reminiscent of the play off match.
