Lambo is literally my all time favourite Saints player (As many of you will be able to tell via my down right refusal to ever criticise him, even when he is playing complete ****e) If we sell him I will not only be furious but also genuinely devastated. He is the player that my generation will remember from their childhood.
He may not be my all-time favourite, but he's well up there. But I'm with you, I don't criticise Ricky either. If he has a bad game or doesn't do something well I gloss over it.
I thought we rejected the bid and told West Ham he wasn't for sale at any price? If we sell Lambert then we don't have a centre forward capable of playing alone upfront. Rodriguez is not good enough to play upfront on his own and nor is Osvaldo.
Exactly, to be my favourite player It's standard criteria that you must have scored at least once against Pompey.
If Rickie decides that today is reason for him to leave, then I would be disappointed with him as a person. Yes, Cortese brought him in, but there have been between 18,000 and 32250 other people that I thought he would have had some affinity to. Perhaps not. Come on Rickie, think of us, be a different type of modern professional footballer.
Absolutely with you guys. Don't have a bad word to say against him. He is my all time favourite, I think.
The Telegraph are saying that Southampton have tonight accepted a £7m bid from West Ham United for Rickie Lambert. Rickie now free to talk personal terms.
£7m is hardly a bad price at his age, but ****...that's one hell of a statement about her intentions.
Personally I would sell Lambert for £7m, but only with the intention on bringing someone in to replace him. Let's see what the lovely lady has up her sleeve.
I fail to see how someone is sat at the club tonight with the authorisation to accept a bid for Rickie. I imagine Les Reed is the man with his finger on the button now, but you think he, Liebherr etc would be slowing down and taking stock before anything happens?
