C.Ronaldo joined Man Utd at 18yrs of age and left when he was 24. Henderson would have been 13 and 19 respectively. It would have been feasible for them to have faced each other in a youth game when they were 20 & 15 or 21 & 16
says early in utd career.lets call it 14. ibe was 14 or 15 playing for wycombe so its not unrealistic to say ronaldo learns from the 14 year old
Serious? Suarez is nowhere near Ronaldo. Doing great for a few months doesnt come close to what Ronaldo has been doing for years at the highest levels. One is the best player in the world, the other is just another player.
farce, should have gone to Ribbery Ribbery helps his team win 5 trophies Ronaldo **** all lol, what a bag of ****e, best player in the world, not this fecking year he wasnt, fix!
Ronaldo has been at a high level for a while- but Suarez isn't new to doing well. His last full season in Holland he got 35 goals in 33 games... you can say "oh but that's the Dutch league..." Well, then he came to England, last season he had a 2 goals in 3 games record- which is pretty good. This season he has a 5 goals per 4 games record. He's not in a team the quality of "Real Madrid" either. We're still a rebuilding team. In fewer games this season- he has scored more goals, provided more assists- and has double the accuracy rate of Ronaldo. Has had more successful tackles, a higher pass completion %. You name it, basically any stat you want to pick- Suarez has a better record that Ronaldo this season (in a lesser team). He is likely better than Ronaldo now... definately better than Ronaldo was when he was in England... he may even be approaching Messi level of talent.
Just gone a week since Man Utd's humiliation by Sunderland so now sm1thy and UIR are brave enough to venture out again. None of you cowards will be here 6pm Sunday though
Nonsense. I count Ronaldo at p35 s42 while suarez is p36 s38. Unsure how you can have him above ronaldo? Ronaldo scored something like 69 in 59 games in 2013. In his best season in England he scored 43 in 48 games. Unlike Suarez he didnt have a WCQ campaign to help boost his overall totals. Ronaldo has to stand out in a team of superstars. To be the best player in a side of 'best players' is far more difficult than standing out in a team of average players. Even Fernando Torres stood out at Liverpool. Finally, anyone, no matter who they are, even without legs can score for fun in Holland.
Yes... because in a 38 game season in which Suarez missed the first 6 games and we're only 21 games in- Suarez has played in 36 games!
I thought it only fair to compare them in all competitions. So I did. Turns out Ronaldo scores more in less games.
Wait, how far back are you going? Are we talking this season ( August) alone??? How the **** can CR play less games when he is also in the CL???
Oh, please. Tribal rivalry is understandable, but churning out the same old tired crap is just boring. Everybody who isn't blinded by resentment can acknowledge that the gap between Suarez and Ronaldo is nowhere near what you make it out to be, and it's narrowing with every game he plays.
You will find the above statement is in no way true. The gap isnt getting smaller at all, Suarez will need to maintain his current level, add to it by scoring prolifically in Europe and score th important goals in the big games. Until then, Suarez is simply a great player having a great season. Hes not the only one and even they dont hold a candle to Ronaldo or Messi.
He's been averaging a goal a game for about an year now. Its not just a few months, unless you're a deluded Manc who defends Ronaldo against everything out of some misguided faith that Ronaldo is coming back to Man Utd in the near future and he "loves" the club Man Utd fans either blindly love Ronaldo OR don't understand football. Because they're the only people that think Ronaldo is better than Messi and they're the only people that think Suarez is just having a good couple of months and he'll revert back to scoring once every two or three games in a bit. PS - I think its both.
You'd have to be pretty deluded to think Suarez is anywhere near Ronaldo. I guess we will find out who is better next season, when Suarez joins Ronaldo at Madrid. I suspect we all know the answer, mind.
