I wouldn't give up on KAgawa just yet, now he's getting more game time he's starting to pick up a bit of form and if this keeps up we might start to see the player we thought we were going to see last season and hopefully he can progress from there. It takes some players longer than others to adapt to the Premier League and I don't think Kagawa has turned into a poor player overnight, I just hope that that he can adapt and that that's what we're slowly starting to see him doing now. The other thing is you need to give him plenty of game time and game time in the first choice 11 not in a mix-n-match of reserve/youth 11 which isn't going to have any fluency to thier game which he's also strarting to get more of now. All that said I can't say I know enough about Gundogan to get excited about hearing him being linked with us.
A choice between the midfieldless Manchester United and the massively over stocked Real Madrid? Be a bit part player on a hefty wage or be a certain starter on an equally hefty wage. Not quite as simple as 'oh real madrid want him, lets give up'
nice!!! selling ozil after seeing him as surplus should had give you the first clue they offered him to all clubs regarding Khedira , there are many rumors around since long time that they want to sell him, why you think they are after Gundogan ? he even lost his 1st team position to Asier Illarramendi who is now the first choice.. too much for a player who is impressing in La Liga.. right? Khedira is a good player nothing more in Real, is better with national team, tbh every time i watched him he was average .. so don't blame Real for trying to find new options being GOOD ≠ successful
Ozil wasn't sold because he wasn't good enough. He was sold because he wasn't marketable, unfortunately. Still, it was the 13th biggest transfer of all time.
Ozil wasnt marketable? The ****? A star of the german side, turkish heritage, fantastic footballer? Even Wayne Rooney is marketable, any player is. He was sold because madrid bought 2 spanish players in his position and needed to fund the Bale transfer. There was no other reason. Because Real are run by morons things like this happen.
Maybe 50 million euros was a very good offer considering they were spending north of 80 million on Bale and however much more on other players. Ronaldo was extremely keen for him to not go. I do see them selling Ronaldo in the not too distant future but think they'll stick with Bale for quite a while.
tbh everyone in Real is replaceable aside from CR, Bale and possibly Ramos and Varane, the rest all are replaceable and hardly can be categorized as a successful career they could had sold Modric and or keep ozil and don't bring isco .. the bottom line there was little difference tbh between those players at the end sure they may sell CR to qualify to FFP and bcz he will be old and rather cash on him, but they will never do that at his prime age, and ozil was at his prime age
I'm fairly sure Khedira isn't getting a game because he's injured. Prior to that he played as practically first choice.
That's already sort of in place. The deal he signed is meant to be worth £160k per week until the end of this season, it then jumps up to £200k per week.
