Is this the best spokes person CTWD have? http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9117380/allam-exit-not-feasible? It did get more coherent towards the end to be fair...
Wow, that was painful to watch. At least he didn't get drawn on the question that actually matters (if Hull Tigers brought in more money, would you rather be Hull Tigers in the prem or Hull City in league 1). Reminded me of this (and boom goes the dynamite)
SSN interviewer threw in a false-dichotomy.. either or fallacy League 1 Hull City or PL Hull Tigers? What's Year of the Tiger got to do with it either? Frank (CTWD) coped with the SSN questioning pretty well IMO & avoided the obvious pitfalls of giving out mixed messages..
Thought he did quite well when pushed into a corner for an answer. Though at one point I thought he was going to do the Vicar of Dibley... 'No, no, no, no, no.... yes'.
Maybe they should ask some of the pros their thoughts on a Hull Tigers not in the Premier League. Will they stop going and wait for them to back in the PL as the PL seems to be their only interest. Unfortunately for Hull Tigers many of those whose main interest was their club and not the division they were in will not be about in future to keep them going.
**** me some of those questions were stupid I don't know Frank and I don't think he's quite as media friendly as someone like Andy Dalton but he still did alright there.
Hahahahahahahah this is cringe. PS: Choosing an old geezer was a bad move because it makes it look like it's just a bunch of old farts struggling with progress. A 30 year old would have made it clear that is an issue that affects everyone.
Maybe but this surely had to top your list of opportunities. Interview with Skysports the day after AA's interview? Surely this should have been priority?
To be fair he was impressive with the way he spoke, but I agree, having him represent the group makes it appear as if AA is correct and it's a minority of older people with their heads stuck in the sand. The fact he wouldn't commit to answering the question about 'Hull Tigers in the PL or Hull City in League 2' demonstrates that there is a bit of a split in the group that he doesn't want to alienate, or that indeed his own personal opinion is the former, even though that would undermine his entire argument.
Thought Frank coped very well indeed considering the technical difficulties and the clown who was interviewing him.
You're missing the important part from the question. The question also included a bit about the change of name bringing in more revenue. I understand that the party line is that would be a legitimate reason for the name change. Obviously it's a hypothetical at this point in time (and I don't work in market research). I am surprised Frank didn't say Hull City AFC in league 1 though.
We get one days notice of these things at best, it's often just a matter of hours, it's not that easy.
i thought he did Alright , after reading the comments first i was expecting a shambles , but he remained fluent relaxed and calm . Theres no way i could do that live on the telly , i'd probably just start jibbering hahaa To compare this to AAs interview he will have been given an outline of the questions and plenty of time to prepare .
