    How's he been getting on? High hopes for the lad, we need a new left back, hopefully we need look no further than our own development system (as dudgeon seems to have suffered a career ending case of Anthony Gardner syndrome)

    Anthony Gardner syndrome is just being **** and getting niggling injuries. Dudgeon's is more like Ian Ashbee syndrome. His knee sounds ****ed to me.

    Very sad for Dudge who was looking like the real deal before his initial injury. Hope it isn't career ending. Ash came back but it may be different for a player like Joe who relied on speed and flexibility in coverage. Good luck to the lad in his rehab, and to Conor who has a bright future in a key position for us.

    He did well on his initial loan, but had to come back to us at the start of December (93 day rule on his emergency loan) so he's only really been back with them a week before the injury.

    Thought that he was injured. <ok> Hopefully he will play again this season at some point for Carlisle..
