    The last I heard...

    Cortese handed his resignation letter in, Katharina rejected it and told him to stay at Saints.

    She isn't looking to sell us, but Cortese would effectively become Head of Staff and become non-executive chairman as the Liebherr's take a more active role in the running of the football club. Cortese isn't going to accept that and would walk, if they insisted.

    At current we are exactly where we were this morning. Stand-off.

    Things can't go on like this though, and Cortese may walk in the summer.
