Do people actually eat Parmesan on its own? I can't really eat raw cheese and always thought it was something you just cooked with
I like a bit of flaked parmesan on the end of a knife with a dry red wine - but aye I wouldn't normally eat any cheese on its own.
Not that popular in Norn Ireland i'm guessing. Imagine some poor sod getting that as a gift from a friend in the post?

Cheddar is the king/president/busy prime minister of cheeses, goes with anything, goes in everything, first item on the shopping list for any normal person. If you're having some ****s round for a vegetarian dinner party and you wish to unimpress them with your cheese board then you might want to buy a selection of inferior cheeses.
