just seen that. As the song goes he's one of our own, why would he want to leave his hometown club who are top of the league going upwards for a tinpot club in a relegation scrap. I wouldn't be surprised if we swapped divisions at the end of the season. Also £2million is a piss take. He's been one of if not THE best defender in the championship this year, and is only very young, as if we would sell him for peanuts. Either they don't know the value of players or they are taking the piss. Can't see him going unless its a top club.

Is he a regular starter for you and would you be mad to sell?

yes he starts every game, has played 22 games this season, is only 20, an england u-21 player, strong, quick, good in the air, composed on the ground, can play full back,...............so yeah we would be mad to sell him. For £2m you are taking the piss.

It's a running joke how derisory our bids are.

ok, apologies mate maybe tinpot is harsh. I simply meant from my point of view you are no bigger than us at all, infact were it not for the geography involved and you being based in posh london on the thames, i would say we were much bigger. you m,ay be going down, we look good to go up.

Attracting players to the prem and london may be ok in the summer, but theres no way he will join you in january, he's a local lad and we are on course for the premier league anyway. Theres also the fact he may not be placed straight into your team and therefore will not be playing. His improvement and growth as a player this year has been great to watch and its come through regular football. His progress would be halted and he may be back down in the championship with you next season. If you were to buy him somehow after seeing some of your defending this season he should go straight into your team, but i doubt it would happen like that and he certainly wouldnt have as much gametime as hes having here.

I am not surprised clubs are after him as hes immense, but £2m is a absolute joke, almost something a rival would do to derail our season. As i said its either total ignorance as to how much players are worth or a total lack of respect and a mickey take. To me it smacks of a 'fashionable' club thinking 'well he plays in a league below he cant be worth too much.' I actually don't mind Fulham and always thought you had the potential, due to the aforementioned geography, to challenge for europe. I am just mad at the fact your club thinks hes worth so little.

That was fast! although its exactly how Pearson says it, our players are not for sale.

If he was to go for £2m, i'd want a 75% sell on clause!

Hes playing for his hometown team at the top of the league atm, hes still young, i'd imagine he would not cause a fuss over this.

Quite glad that hes getting the recognition he deserves, although i'd like to see him here until the end of the season at least, no doubt this will give his agent fodder to renegotiate his contract, and im sure we will anyway if we reach the prem next season.

Yes... apologies for that ... I think it's more testament to our regard for the lad than a dig at your club ... I actually put on another thread yesterday that, should we get promoted at the end of this season, I felt he might even have a squeak at the full England squad for the world cup. OK that's partly becaiue the current crop of England centre-halves our pretty ordinary but this boy does have an awful lot of potential. He is an awesome physical specimen for twenty and also quick enough to play at full-back. Frankly £2m is derisory when you see some of the money being paid for rather average foreigners etc - I would be shocked and extremely disappointed if we'd even agree to talk with anybody for less than double-digits if he keeps improving at the pace that he is currently, he will certainly warrant that kind of fee in future ... it would be a complete own goal to sell him for less now - and we don not need the money on the back of the owners wiping out our debt recently.

I would have no interest in selling Moore. Other then Joe Mattock A Leicester lad has broken into the first team since Emile Heskey

He is a class defender and he is learning a hell of a lot from Wes. I would be more then happy with them as our centre halfs in the prem

Watched Fulham V Norwich last night FA Cup replay, what a load of gash, two poor teams relegation bound.

I sincerely hope Fulham don't get relegated, the better half supports them & is already in deep despair. Having watched a number of their recent games they do need to strengthen their defence but NOT with any of our players. I'm sure Moore would much rather play for us in the PL (fingers crossed) anyway. Pleased we declined promptly, hopefully will deter the other clubs that were interested.

No problem, i popped in to find out how ballistic your reaction would be and tbh it's mild compared to what it would be like on the dysfunctional forum i normally use, http://www.cottagecorner.org/forum/index.php?board=1.0 when one of the 'big clubs' usually Spuds, come calling for one of ours with a two bob offer

We are used to 'two bob offers' and in the past we have sometimes had to accept them. As stated, Liam is a local lad who has come through our academy. Had a decent season last season, and an excellent season so far this one. Our owners are wealthy, and with our position in the Championship, we dont want to (or need to) sell. It would take a spectacular offer to take Liam away from the club. Honestly believe his ambition would be to take his hometown club to the Premiership. If we dont do it this season, then a decent offer in the summer may well persuade him to leave - but not at this time. Good luck for the rest of the season. Good memories of Craven Cottage - arriving 15 minutes late and seeing (I think) Ian Wilson driving home from 20 yards for a 1-0 win when we were both chasing promotion.

He won't be going anywhere - unless he wants to go as we don't need the money.

He´s from Leicester (I think) He´s playing regular & we are in a strong pos to go up into the prem so this would be a backward move imo.
