Back in Tubby's younger days - blame it all on Delia - Paul Lambert obviously sees something in him:- please log in to view this image please log in to view this image The Incredible Holt: Ex tyre-fitter putting the skids under Premier League's elite http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Holt-Ex-tyre-fitter-putting-skids-elite.html
I'm praying James Vaughan is still injured for Huddersfield's visit to Loftus Road, because these guys could turn out to be one of the best strike pairings in the championship. Other than ings & vokes, I can't think of anyone who beats them. Vardy and Nugent perhaps? Their cumulative goals are exaggerated a bit by the number of penalties scored though. Every time I've seen Vaughan, he's impressed. If it weren't for the injuries/suspensions this season, he'd be way above 10 goals.
Getting closer "It has been reported that Queens Park Rangers were the club that invited €8m rated striker Paul-Georges Ntep to London in preparation of a bid, despite strong interest from Arsenal and Newcastle United. According to French newspaper L'Equipe, it was in fact Harry Redknapp's Queens Park Rangers that invited the 21-year-old hotshot to London, despite speculation quickly pointing him to a move to the Emirates.".... He was at the ground yesterday ....apparently...Now down to him.
I think we've got to up our bid beth, what you here is that he's happy with terms we offered but as another team own's him it could get political like fraulins case & we don't want that again!
Think I would prefer Rhodes but would be a very good signing, however if Arsenal make an offer we have no chance!
At least we are not getting carlton cole as he's signed 18month contract with hammers, relief or what?
I dont think its a case of either as they are 2 totally different types of forward. I think wed get this guy if AJ goes to Palace. Rhodes would be a Zamora replacement. Thanks for the good news Jeff, I was dreading us getting Cole on a 3.5 year deal.
If we did sign Ntep, this could be great news in terms of keeping hold of Remy next season if we're promoted!?
Arent they the same type of player. However Rhodes, Austin, Remy and Ntep should see us set in the forward dept for a long time if we go up/
