Just back. Decent performance from Watford who deserved to win. Still a little worried that BC were able to impose themselves on us for the first quarter, but quality outed in the end. Great reception for Abdi as well. Welcome back AA, about bloody time
well that was a good evening, i enjoyed that! Surrounded by good friends...we started in the Rookery and then tried to sit up the Vic Road end, but the stewards were having none of it, ended up in the Lower Rous so that we could watch all the goals flying in...shame there was only 2 lol. Lots of positives on the pitch, and how great was it to see Almen Abdi back, and to such a fantastic reception too! Great to see Iriney do so well, i hope we seem much more of him. Looking forward to Bournemouth now...shame i can't make Man City/Blackburn on 25th, gutted!
I saw you in the first half H, you were sitting just down and across from us. Hopefully will see you in Bournemouth on Saturday...we have got a car full going. Like you I will not be able to make the 25th as we are going to LA for a wedding that week-end and will fly out on the 23rd.
Positives were seeing Abdi back and Bond doing well. Generally a solid performance once we got the first goal and created a few chances. Let hope the win brings some confidence back and once again looked fairly solid at the back.
A little rust as you might expect. But as soon as he came on the mood of the team changed, they were more organised and he was the general in midfield we have known. It even managed to rouse the fans in a cheer!!
