... for the spygate scandal

Is it enough for the McLaren fans who lost out on a WCC and possibly WDC from the fall out caused. Should Stepney apologise for his role also?

Do you think we will see apologies from Symonds and Flabio for crashgate?

Apologies are important. Particularly if they are sincere.

However, I cannot imagine a sufficiently grovelling apology from Briatore to placate the damage he (in my opinion) masterminded. He is a disgrace to sport and should never be welcomed back into F1.

I couldn't agree more! But, just for the amusement factor, I look forward to hearing him try... And seeing him grovel, of course :)

Seriously,Coughlan has admitted his crime and done his time (could I make a song out of that?) he deserves a break IMO.

Flabby will never admit his guilt and therefore will never apologise so in my humble opinion should never set foot in F1 again.

Is it just me or does the image of Flabby Flavio groveling seem disgusting?

Fernando wants him.And whether we like it or not he did get results.

For me,the only mitigating circumstances, were his protests when Schummi parked at rascasse.

I know your a Ferrari fan Jacky but that was hilarious.

Make no mistake about it Jacky. This has always been his ambition. He is Italian and it is therefore in his DNA to attempt to climb to the top of the pile, regardless of how it's done or what it might entail on the way to what he sees as his destiny…

Ferrari must resist this at all cost. However, I have an unpleasant feeling about he long-term outcome of this…

for me their apologies are worthless, it's more a case of "I'm sorry I got caught cheating, next time I'll do it better". All they're after is a way back in. Coughlan was a thief, simple as.

There is that aspect too. Is he sorry because he is repentant or simply sorry he got caught?

99% of apologies are insincere and hypocritical, it is like you can do/say whatever you want and as long as you say 'sorry' afterwards then everything is alright.
