Can't complain re Ronaldo, he's been amazing but that team selected needs some examination. Inniesta maybe but not having Xavi. Schweinsteiger should have been in there at least. Don't get me started on Ramos! Suarez, great last couple of years of course but he's done nothing in Europe. These awards and teams are heavily influenced by who performs in the C.L so much harder for Suarez to stand out. Not sure the committee are that impressed with him scoring 37 goals v Norwich.
If Suarez continues for this calendar year like he's started and carries it into European competition he could well be in next years team, even in with a chance of winning it. His run has been domestic only, does he really warrant getting in up front ahead of any of those four? No. Is there a story? No.
