Defeatist attitude will not be tolerated , a huge game but not a season defining one .a point against a very good team of talented individuals who have started to click and appear to enjoy playing for the 'manager ' would be an excellent result .But to achieve any where that means we won't be carrying passengers ,everyone has to give 100% .

Lets start using the wings more like we use too and cut back on this pointless midfield side wards and backward passing when its not necessary and go forward more...goals win games not how many passes we can muster during the game...its all negative football going nowhere...

Come on Swansea... I heard some people saying Man Utd were back the other day, after a decent second half performance, but I was watching the game in disbelief that this was the same Swansea side ripping up the league last year.

Europa is a curse, but I trust you're all still smiling about being Cup CHAMPIONS!!!!!

Hope the real Swansea show up against Spurs <ok>

Too many reasons as to why we're not firing on all four but we're home and not playing badly so hopefully we'll do our selves proud .:emoticon-0148-yes:

Vorms may be a bit stiff after his time out but spurs seem to get a lot of pens and Vorms is better with them so who knows ? Until we get back to full strength we could murder them one week and get done another so I recon a draw .

We need to keep Walker penned back in a defensive role which in my view he has weaknesses. So lots of possession football please and get that ball into Wilf early as he can def cause the Spurs centre backs problems.

I think this will be an entertaining 1-1 draw.

Realistically the way our form has been this season, I'll take a point any day, though the last 4 or 5 games we haven't played bad in at all, we just seem to have lost our way in tha final shot or move on goal, I do think the answer would be early ball to Bony, at least he is is equiped with some scoring technique, which has completely evaded our other forwards..........<ok>

Crumbs...Ok well if no Poz, and with all our wingers/wide players out bar Routledge....who does that leave? Jazz or Taylor behind Rangel on the right? Alternatively, I wouldn't mind seeing this Arsenal lad Junior Meade play on the left wing tbh. He looked decent when he played for Arsenal, not sure how he's been performing in the U21s though.

    Maybe Donnelly on the wing?

If we both play this game like we did last game, you'll win. We were awful and only won because we were playing Palace and had some luck. You were very good and only lost because you were playing City. On the other hand, we're due for a good performance, having mailed two straight in. If we do, we should have enough talent to get the win, but you never know. We'll set up 4-4-2 w/o a DM, so I expect we'll do a lot of watching you pass the ball around. It should come down to who can take their chances. We both create and give up a few these days. There's no doubt we've got some talented players, and we've been showing an ability to score which was missing with AVB. But it's been almost all Eiriksen and Ade, so far anyway. It should be a good game.

Palace as poor as they were at the start of the season have started to show a bit of fight but a win for you should have been expected never the less.Ade is back in fashion for you atm and he's difficult player to pin down and he's only 1 of number of players that can hurt a team .If we play as well as we can and with the good news of playing returning from injury then it should be a cracking game .One I hope we win of course but as importantly a sign of consistency from the players which should show promise with the number of "easier" games ahead.

I like you user name as well , an exile ?

There are not many reasons at all. There is just one reason and one reason only...ML...If you cant see that which more and more are beginning to see after every bad result then you dont know much about football, that's all i can say....You cant keep on making excuses for ever in the hope its not true and we will get better because as long as we keep playing this way which is the only constant thing we do at the club then we are going nowhere. I totally agree with others who post on other sites the exact same scenario...The sad thing is you, me, and everyone else can talk about the why's and for's till the cows come home as it wont change or make a difference whatsoever and only ML can do that or jinx...So at the end of the day what will be will be and i will hope and pray that we do just enough to stay in the premiership but if we dont then so be it, It does not effect any of the fans one bit and only effects the club and its players....

You really are a tiresome fool ,whats the matter nobody loved when you when you were (I use the term grudgingly) ,growing up ,You're beginning to ramble on a bit now with no structure to your posts .Personally sunshine I've forgotten more about football than you're ever likely to learn and what I don't know ain't worth knowing .

So yet again, another thread derailed ,now jog on and let the grown ups talk.

Mark Lawrenson's Prediction for Swansea City v Tottenham Hotspur (Sunday, 13:30 GMT)

Swansea need a win just to stop them from looking anxiously over their shoulders at the teams below them in the table because they have been drifting a bit.

They still have not made the transition from being able to keep the ball so well to using it to make enough chances. That is the main thing they are lacking.

It has been a difficult season for them but one of the positives is that Wilfried Bony is now starting to show some form.

Tottenham have been doing well under Tim Sherwood and I just get the sense that their squad is a happier ship now than when Andre Villas-Boas was in charge.

Judging by what he has done so far, I think Sherwood will pick a team to try to win the game rather than just stop Swansea, but he might have to settle for a point.

Lawro's prediction: Swansea City 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

FFS Dai stop turning every thread into a ML bashing opportunity. Case you haven't noticed, we've played okay the past few games.
You're skating on thin ice now, there is a thread created for you to criticise Laudrup.
