In the January window Its all smoke screens, Glazers will not spend a penny, until roo is sold in the summer. Th(o)ughts
Not till the last hour where we shell out 20 mil on that decent looking player at Stoke. Charlie Adam
typical of a$$holes Glazers they didn't support the manager during summer and even with CL spot seeming to be 50-50 , they are still refusing to spend those cheap Yankees
I wish you'd stop making these statements. I'm superstitious and I reckon this now means we won't sign anyone.
forget the media.we will sign someone before deadline,do you really think the glaziers are so stupid as to not let moyes bed someone in before the start of a new season.it just doesn't make sense.chill out.we'ii be allright.
Apparently ferguson wanted matic in the summer, but moyes didn't rate him so ended up buying fellaini instead.
Isn't money supposed to attract money, so we should spend unless the Glazers are just business imposters.
Us not signing players was down to Moyes and Woodward. Glazers are clearly willing to fork out a fortune on players like Fabregas. The people in charge of making that happen failed.
Signing or not signing players means nothing, signing QUALITY players is the real deal. January transfer window: Signing QUALITY players > signing no players > signing average players
Normally I'd agree with you, but not this window. I think the squad needs one or two new faces to freshen things up a bit and to hopefully have a positive efect in the dressing room. Can you image what the likes of Ronney, RVP, Carrick etc would be thinking if we just didn't address the obvious gaps in our squad at all ??
I'm just concerned if we sign another Fellaini or two that don't hit the heights that we expect then it just reinforces the idea that the post-SAF era cannot attract quality players or are not willing to spend the $$$ required for those players. I'm not saying I agree with that but it wouldn't send a great message to any players we are looking to sign in the summer, or to Rooney when considering whether to sign a new contract. I agree with you that we need new faces, desperately in fact. And I'm really keen to see some of them arrive in January. But say they are not available for whatever reason (hopefully not just more money, I'd happily pay a few extra million to have a player available for the rest of this season), I would rather wait for June to get the right player (say Pogba), that settle for a lesser player. I know teams are reluctant to sell quality players in Jan because they are only likely to replace them in June/July.
Glazers could had Cesc i they wanted to tempt Barca with more money do you think ozil worth 41m.. no way .. is a joke that Glazers can think they can have best players around for players value over the years we let many of our previous targets join the rivals for 2-5m less or 1-2m in wages, was that down to the manager and chief executive? sure not
Blaming the glazers for the failings of moyes and Woodward. The two ****tards messed up and are looking like they will repeat their mistakes.
Why did they fail? why were they trying to be penny pinching twats? why dont we offer massive salaries? that all moyes fault too? The glazers are ****ing leeches. fergie had his hands tied for years as we were always trying to be penny pinching twats which had the effect of putting the players off coming as we werent willing to stump the required funds to make it happen. That IS down to the Glazers stripping the club of its disposable income.
well said .. is just ridiculous that till last season we were relying on Scholes and Giggs despite they were not as god as before.. our mid were crying for years for replacements, guess it was Sir Alex fault too as he didn't want spend !! some people logic really irritate me .. Yes Moyes did some mistakes, but did he had the financial backing? hell no. we were outspent this season by the the saints and Cardiff .. that is Glazer promise to back the manager for an aging team
