Have not had one of these for some time. In fact I think this may be the first one this year. So like an old returning thread friend here we go. I stopped eating sweet thingas about 15 years ago. Coincided with my near death experience and the subsequent medication I was put on for the trauma. But I used to love my cakes. I can honestly say that my two favourites were Tipsy and Madeira Cakes. What are yours peeps? Be honest now, we are amongst friends on here.
You a savoury man like my good self Gambol? When I'm dining out (which seems to be all the time these days) I always finish with the cheese and biscuits/crackers and not the sweet. It's just the way I am. I like living on the edge.
Quite. It is so much more refined as well for gentlemen like us. You could start a favourite cheese thread.
I shall move on from my sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle to really live it up. Cheeseboard after dinner this evening methinks
Its because ur a pair of drunks. Alcohol is basically sugar, ur od-ing in the stuff. Stop boozing for a week n ull discover u hav a very dweet tooth.
Stopped boozing for ages and still did not have a sweet tooth. Told you, it's the medication I am on.
Blackberry and apple pie with thick hot custard and a spoon of cold double cream, knock yourselves out.
