Shame, but I've said before the results for the u21s and u18s don't really matter. The best u18 players are in the u21s and the best u21s are in the first team. It's about the production line not the results.
sounds about right, united had a couple of 22 year olds, I don't think we played any overaged. Even stephens who has been around for ages now is still 19 until the 27th
Except tonight's squad included Gallagher, Isgrove and Reed who are the three training with the first team. It's absolutely about results. Winning needs to become a habit even for these teams. Otherwise they arrive in the first team thinking that winning is not important so long as you show up! This was their first match back in the new year so they should have been pretty fresh. All in all they put up a decent fight but man Utd seem to be a bit of a bogey team for us.
two of them could play for the u18s. isgrove... he's in the same sort of situation as ben reeves last season.
serves me right for not checking when he turned 18 still not bad considering macheda has played 14 times for sampdoria and stuttgart.
