The great unknown in the Hughton in-Hughton out debate is the attitude of the Board. I think their silence is actually the best - probably the only - policy, since any statement would be picked to death and be likely to add to the general feeling of uncertainty and malaise, but it does mean that, as fans, we have no idea what their thinking is on the subject. The Gutierrez loan suggests that they still intend to back CH, but I hope they realise the level of discontent that is bubbling under the surface and may finally erupt if we fail to beat Hull and play badly in the process. Remember Blackburn and the price they paid for internal conflicts. Whatever happens, we must avoid that as a club. I guess we have no choice but to trust the Board. Not happy times, though.
