Our midfield lacks that "in your face" confrontational grafty player. Whenever teams attack, everyone just keeps backing off, ok flying tackles isn't how modern football is played, but in that sense we have been ultra-modern. Clearly, we have made too few tackles and unlike most other teams, none of our midfielders make into our top 5 rated players.
Its been said before, as well as not replacing Scholes, Utd have never replaced Keane. Fletcher is the nearest Utd have come. Hopefully he can stay fit for the rest of the season, which can only improve the midfield and its bite.

I bet the stats are better.... though not by a high degree. We were playing well last year, not excellent. The difference was, the forwards were fit and banging in freestyle, and Carrick was fit too.
Yes. Rio clearly plays better on meth. Vidic is a meth monster. RVP gets a bit rapey on meth though, hence the ban
