You seriously see Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League chasing Mourinho leaving Hazard, Oscar, Willian and Mata to manage in the Europa League with Cleverley and Welbeck? please log in to view this image
6 in 6 and People still laugh at Welbeck, Cleverley fair enough but Welbeck who has been getting the points on his own lately pretty much.
Where do you live in Manchester where 95 per cent of the people you know support United. In the suburbs?
First ten years Bradford (abut a mile from city centre) next twelve years Miles Platting (about the same distance) last 33 years Failsworth (about 4.5 miles from city centre). I actually know people who live other places than Manchester so not sure how this helps you (have re-assessed my figures, probably more like 90%)
Desperate backtracking. So you were born in Bradford, lived briefly in Manchester and lived in OLdham for 33 years... and support United As I suspected you don't live in Manchester. If you did live in Manchester, I would guess the split between United and City would not be 90: 10
Is it a suburb like Oldham? Greater Manchester Me saying I live in Manchester when I live in Oldham is surely like someone saying they live in London when they live in Richmond. I fully accept that more people in the suburbs like Oldham support Oldham and United than City. I guess even in central Manchester there would be more United than City fans these days. If Bradford is central Manchester would you be nearer Maine Road than Old T? Would City be your local club? I support by local team so cherrypicking the best club is alien to me
It is central Manchester, as in central Manchester, as in even closer to the city centre than the city of Manchester stadium. And we all know how City are bang in the centre of Manchester, right?
Nicely edited. Sounds to me like you have no idea of the size of Manchester and even less of its geography but I will indulge you. I would say that anything within a ten mile radius minimum and you're supporting your local team, either of the Manchester clubs. I personally am from the other side of town to Diego but further out, literally five miles from Old Trafford where I lived and two from where I was born. Salford City are closer, are you telling me that's who I should have supported? Am I a glory hunter on your terms? (this ignoring how **** United were when I was growing up of course) Diego will probably back me up here in that when we were kids you looked out for both sides but became a proper fan of one. I still look out for City's score and do NOT hate them by any means. Distance wise from Bradford to Maine Road or Old Trafford? Close but I would say OT is that bit closer myself. Diego definitely supports his local team.
I don't doubt your geography but how can Diego support his local team if he lives in Oldham? Is oldham's ground outside Oldham so Old Trafford is closer? I was born 1.4 miles from Stamford bridge, went to school there and still live here. You seem to have a problem with me from my very first post on my return. Call me old fashioned but if you live in Oldham, your local team is Oldham I really doubt United were that **** when you grew up. When I started supporting chelsea we were in the second div for seven seasons out of 8. United had one season in div 2
When I started supporting United we had just got out of the second division, City were better. In fact, my two earliest memories football wise are the picture of Dennis Tueart mid overhead kick on the back page of the paper in winning the league cup for City and then us losing to Southampton later that year in the FA cup. We were ****, yes. What you appear to be saying is that because Diego now lives in Failsworth, which is equidistant between Oldham and Manchester, he should have jumped ship to Oldham. Is that what we all do now, as soon as we move house we check who is geographically closest and support them? Therefore, as I now love in Swansea, I should be a Swansea fan. That's right? The reason I've got my eye on you is I do happen to have functioning memory and so know why you were banned in the first place. So far you're ok, but I can see signs of you reverting back to the boring, tedious, wind up merchant you always were.
So in 75/6, when you came third in Div 1, 13 points ahead of city, who finished eighth. Just four points behind the title winners and reached the cup final, you were ****? Cry me a river
