Team of the year Neuer Alves Ramos Silva Lahm Ribery Xavi Iniesta Messi Ibrahimavic Ronaldo Player of the year Ronaldo Thought was obvious Ronaldo would get it and Messi being injured and missing games probably helped that decision. Thought Busqutes or Martinez deserved to be in instead of Xavi (if you're making a team surely it needs to be balanced and that midfield clearly isn't). Ramos? Not sure I rate him all that highly, get's too many yellows/red's to be a world class CB, but then who else would you pick? Possibly one of the Bayern CB's considering their defensive record in the league was outstanding. Rest was pretty much as expected really.. if you asked someone to name a WC left back/right back/keeper etc then I think those names would get picked by most people.
