Yeah it is people are banging on about Bales performance but it's Casey Affleck who's really good in it.
Anyone seen The Wolf of Wall Street? Very good film. Mainly because of Margot Robbie - absolutely stunning
People rave about Breaking Bad but it's not as good as some make out, worth seeing it through now though.
It's just very watchable with some really good characters in. I find it also questions people's ethics.
It's interesting how characters change but I wont say anymore. Finished Band of Brothers a few weeks ago, enjoyed that.
Oops, think I was off by a week but here is the story line of the first season. Season 2 carries on from that.
The Following started well but was too long and the main bad guy is rubbish, I've seen the trailer for S2 and will not be watching it as the premise is already very silly.
meh, will give it a chance, got enough shows now back on that if it is pish ( like revolution and under the dome) then I will just pie it off.
I watched an episode where one of the anti-terrorist people was having child care problems and was hiding her baby under her desk, that put me off big time. I agree, who was in charge of that? First episode all the lights go out and humanity has to adapt, really scary stuff should be good. At this point the makers decide to leave all the good bits out and go straight to 20 years later. Idiots!
Well they did do flashbacks to pick you up on the story but it just felt like there was too much wandering and the back story needed to be either brought in quicker or even be a bit different and start with right after the lights went out and then flash forward. That would have been very different and would make you wonder how the hell did they get to that point? A lot more anticipation and want to watch.
They should have just gone from lights out IMO it would have been interesting and if popular they would have then had the budget to do the later stuff a lot better.
The first series was ****ing excellent, and such a new concept at the time. It is a very good show - I just found after series 3 it became too repetitive. Think I watched the 4th and gave up on it, although still got the massive box set with them all in. May go back and finish it at some point. Also on Breaking Bad, I have to agree with Luv - so much hype and it didn't live upto it for me. I was expecting something in the realms of The Wire, The Soprano's, etc etc - not good enough imo. Still good, but not even in my 10 TV series. I'm currently into Boardwalk Empire - very impressed with that I must say
