Every season passes when a bad decision goes against any team and you always get the saying 'that will even out in the end.' Well, let's see if it does. I will do a list of decisions which went against us and see what we have had given back to us from dodgy decisions. The decisions I will select are the ones which influence the game, a player getting a yellow card isn't going to change the game. Decisions against: Mirallas should of been sent off for the challenge on Suarez E'to should of been sent off for the challenge on Henderson Penalty should of been awarded for the challenge on Suarez from E'to Offside decision against Sterling against Man City The foul on Suarez against Spurs, just inside the box Oscar straight red for 2 footed lunge on Lucas Penalty for Terry elbow on Suarez Raffle should of seen a second yellow for handball Sturridge taken down penalty and Man U Mingolet punched in the head and loses the ball for a goal Decisions for: Handball should of been given for Sterling v Stoke which led to the penalty Suarez dived for penalty against Aston Villa Sturridge dived for third pen v Man U 50/50 pen at West Ham which was awarded Any decisions which have been for or against us put them on here and I'll add to the list.
all great mate but SC would say dif, how the **** does it even itself out when he got sacked because of ****e ref decisions, no consolation to him if it happens. any way good thread besides that cant think of any at mo but will return.
half of suarez free kicks all he needs to go is get fouled and its a goal chance. I think if we invited half the lower half teams to commented they'd fill the list pretty quick with refs favoring us. I think you need a "rule" saying it has to be a real game changer like a pen or sending off.. offsides ok.. i guess. if voted for by the superhero panel.
The foul on Suarez against Spurs, just inside the box - Suarez doesn't go down and gets a shot off. 100% penalty though. It could have been 6-0
never would happen to ferguson would it? add every single game someone comments on skertl pulling shirts... as if they've never seen italian style defending in their lives. we must have missed 40 pens against now.
Oscar straight red for 2 footed lunge on Lucas Penalty for Terry elbow on Suarez Suarez's yellow card for not even touching Hart was bullshit, especially when the same day Young got nothing for crippling McGregor
Skrtel is the only premier league defender to ever touch an opponent's shirt. Every ABL knows that. please log in to view this image
If we are going to list everything then the "Decisions for" section needs to mention Skrtel a lot more
Refs need to be consistent. Since they never give shirt pulls for us (or anyone else) we don't need to list them when not given against us.
i agree but i thought it had to be pointed out given the media jumping up and down on every pundit show.
As I've said before, I agree with that but Skrtel takes it much further than just shirt pulling and rarely watches the ball either. IMO, he's got away with at least half a dozen clear penalties so far this season. And that's not me just picking on him, I've said a few times that he's been our best defender this season.
yeah and so has half the prem and 100% of italian defenders. right now its a little hate campaign that's largely ignored except for on sky. we don't need some ref deciding he's got to look for it all of a sudden cos its now a big deal... cos it happens every game in oever pen area.
You're missing my point. Shirt pulling does happen every game and I agree that if these were given then there would be a hand full of penalties in every match. However, my point is that Skrtel goes further than any other defender in the league with it as I'm not talking about shirt pulling. He doesn't look at the ball whilst trying to hug the **** out of his opponent. Skrtel has done that at least half a dozen times so far, feel free to find someone else that's done that more than once this season? Its certainly not a hate campaign bandwagon from me, I've been banging on about this for two years and many on here will tell you so, I'm sure you will have seen it too.
I won't put Skrtels shirt pulling on there as there hasn't been a time where it should of been a penalty IMO. List updated.
You might as well close the thread then, as you're merely applying your subjective bias to any decision that should have gone against.
Show me a video of when his shirt pulling this season should of been a penalty and I'll gladly put that in the list.
I see your point but don't think having eyes on the ball excuses far worse pulls than Skrtel's. In a world where this is not a penalty then none of Skrtel's are anyway please log in to view this image
I do get the point i do see him not looking at the ball but you know all i need say is kompany who's pulling just as much. I did make the point you could ask all the small teams and here is tobes to represent them! so tobes was it skertl pulling that putoff lukaku when he fell over his own feet at woodision old son? "subjective bias" is what you call other people's opinions. It's his list and i actually suggested the shirt pulls in the first place but accept that none were ever a pen or even a big shout for one.
