The Scheme (TV series) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Scheme is a BBC Scotland documentary series which follows the lives of six families on the Onthank and Knockinlaw housing schemes in Kilmarnock. The series has been the subject of media criticism, with the series being labelled as "poverty porn" and described as giving a "misleading impression" of life on the estate . The programme makers have denied allegations that their series exploits the residents of the estate. Does ER make an appearance on it?
