Thats just not true. I think out of his first four or so touches 3 were 'lost' and one was the goal. But he tries stuff that others don't so its going to happen.
He wasn't offside when he received the ball but he was in an offside position before that. Goal hanging as you might once have said.
Sort of, if you are behind the ball when it is played, which he was, you're onside. Apart from that West Brom spent more time offside than Papa Waigo yesterday.
Playing Arsenal on Pro Evo 4 the other day. What a goal hanger..! Does nothing but score, and he didn't even do that against my Saints team. He was subbed in the end.
Little nugget of info from yesterday's match. Nicolas Anelka played in the same team for Paris St-Germain as Pochettino. What a small football world we live in.
Another nugget.... we gone and done the double over West Brom this season! That used to be something noteworthy, less so these days it seems. #againstlessnoteworthyfootballstats
Yeah, I did think that too. The fact that we'd done the double, not that it was less noteworthy. However, Saints are a better team nowadays, with a stronger squad, but it still isn't that strong in depth. I've no doubt that if we had played WBA a couple of weeks ago we would have struggled a bit more, but we have enough of the stalwarts back, and Boruc makes such a visible difference it's like chalk and cheese.
Watching the coverage, I thought this was a very pretty picture from the end of the game. Nice sky, nice stadium, nice score. please log in to view this image
