Oh so we'll ignore it as it didn't happen. Your fans are saints. We boo our managers though...

Fergie v Dalglish isnt even a debate. Fergie wins by a mile. Not only has fergie made Man Utd into the best team in the land hes also the last manager to break the old firm dominance of scotland. Kenny couldnt do that.

When Kenny is in charge the club always has money. Liverpool, Blackburn, Newcastle, Celtic, Liverpool. Hes been successful at Liverpool and Blackburn and had limited success at Celtic which hardly counts as anyone would have success at Celtic ( except John Barnes of course, the worst manager in football history ).

I am also pretty sure some Liverpool players from his first stint as LFC manager questioned his ability to continue the clubs success. Alan Hansen being one.

Well if you remember correctly Chelsea picked the wrong staff Essien was far from himself and hasn't been for a while, lamps too was poor and noone could seemto find a teammate with a straight pass, I lost count of how many times Chelsea midfielders gave the ball directly to united player under no pressure. Thats why I left out their midfield. Drogba apart they offered no challenge until late in the second leg. Torres oh my jaesus, I have never seena pro in the top flight play so bad.

Would you be happy with their performance at OT in the last league meting if you were a chelsea fan? I seriously doubt it.

And although we have played Marseille quite often in the past we didn't play them that night, and besides, I know Liverpool failed in the EL never mind hte CL but I think Braga would have been better than all tree teams you beat to the final, we stuffed chelsea twice in the league remember? They were a shadow of the team that fell apart after some rich Owner interference, bet RA still hasn't learned his lesson, it has cost him 2 titles and possibly a CL title too, Shev and Wilkins sacking have cost chelsea millions and trophies imo.

Bloody hell I'm suprised this thread is still going. I let the kids n on Moshy Monster on the laptop for a while and expected this would have fallen into all out Fergie vs Kenny warfare whilst I was offline.

The standard of opposition is irrelevant as you can only beat what is put in front of you. Granted Barca outplayed us again but there is no disgrace in that as they outplay virtually everyone at the minute.

I really don't get how you / KPR think the United midfield is so bad. I agree individually there aren't great but as a unit they are outstanding. No team has as much success as United have had if their midfield is so supposedly poor.

Kenny has held 4 managerial positions and failed to win a trophy at one...just one,Newcastle,He won hounors at Liverpool,Blackburn and Celtic.
Ferguson before he managed Aberdeen, was a suitcase manager,He had 3 jobs before Aberdeen and got sacked from all three.I think you should check your facts before spouting mindless drivel.I've just remembered, according to Man United fans anything that happened before 1992,doesn't exist.

****ing hell you still banging that drum lad ? Give it a rest.

Comparing Sir Alex to Kenny at the moment is pointless as it is a no contest. Maybe in 10 years Kenny might come close to him.

I know Liverpool fans love him but any reasonable fan or non Liverpool fan knows that Sir Alex is currently streets ahead in managerial achievemets.

Funny, when we count league and European, i.e. 18+5>19+3 we get Mancs citing the FA cups, league cups, blah blah. So let's not leave anything out so we can't be accused of being selective:

    UTD
    19 First Division/Premier League
    2 Second Division
    11 FA Cups
    4 League Cups
    18 FA Charity/Community Shield: 18 (14 outright, 4 shared)
    3 European Cup/Champions League
    1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup
    1 UEFA Super Cup
    1 Intercontinental Cup
    1 FIFA Club World Cup

    Total: 61

    LIVERPOOL
    18 First Division/Premier League
    4 Second Division
    1 Lancashire League
    7 FA Cups
    7 League Cups
15 FA Charity Shield/FA Community Shield
    1 Super Cup
    5 European Cup/Champions League
    3 UEFA Cups
    3 UEFA Super Cups

    Total: 64

    64>61

    Most successful English club.

Changing the goal-posts to suit yourself.
Kenny was revered at two clubs as a player.
The ''Prince of Parkhead',''The King of the KOP'.102 Caps for his country.Joint top goalscorer with Dennis Law on 3O.
Fergie was a two bit striker that couldn't get into a poor Rangers team.

I'm changing the goal posts ????? WTF

Not one poster has mentioned their playing careers. Only you. But I'm moving the goal posts <doh><doh>

So who is 'moving' the goal posts ?

You are clearly clutching at straws by bringing their playing careers into it. Do you think any United fan cares about Fergies playing career

Again I DON'T CARE ABOUT PLAYING THEIR PLAYING CAREERS.... .it's not even part of the debate. Nobody is doubting what Kenny achieved as a player so what are you going on about. I can't remember any post decrediting what Kenny achieved as a player ?

Put your money where mouth is.
If Best was so superior to Kenny in every way....Come on list his small amount of honours...well it is small compared to Kenny's.
It will prove that Best had a five year career before he pissed it all away.

Well according to most Man United fans Kenny Dalglish couldn't lace George Bests boots.Best was the superior player...well not in honours won he wasn't.
They also bring up Bests Ballon Dor.For **** sake Kevin Keegan won it twice.Kenny was 10 times the player Keegan was.
