Whilst it's all very inclusive and ticks all of the boxes on the 'support engagement' agenda, here's a prime example why some things should be left to the professionals. please log in to view this image The club have been quick to distance itself from this monstrosity that was doing the rounds on Twitter earlier, but it emphasises my point further still. @IJTaylor 81 Can confirm that any 'new crests' doing the rounds on twitter are not those of the club. Still in early process. Fans will be involved. #QPR I actually think this was a bit of counter culture eminating from Fulham - it looks suspiciously similar - perhaps Adel has had the crayons out. So, it's a case of be very careful what you wish for. For what it's worth, I think that the current badge is excellent and needs no further improvement. Why fix what's not broken?
I've tried embedding it in the original post. I think it's working now. Refresh your browser. And prepare yourself......
Ok Swords Hoopster - sorry for this old pal - try this link instead: https://twitter.com/TalkingQPR/status/422305648584712192/photo/1
Laughable. My 5 year old could come up with something better than that. Surprised Taylor responded to this.
From your post I do not really understand what you are getting at but your first statement leaving the desing to the "professionals" made me really laugh. Do you believe the current badge has been desinged by professional people ? We have had this discussion plenty of times before and I do not want to comment on the pros/cons anymore but the outcome of the most recent change a couple of years ago can be easily topped by any creative amateur in my point of view. I do know quite a lot of other forums where supporters have shown all their passion and creativity - at the end it is only a matter of paint shop pro I believe.
Frankly rubbish. Design by committee doesn't work, although I prefer our pre-Flav badge we'd be better sticking with the current one rather than bringing in something like this...
As said before the current one looks like the one of a bedlinen manufacturer...here you go http://www.peterreed.com/ We do need to go back into history an pick any of our old badges - or create a new one.
Changing THE badge is one of the most stupid things a football club can do anyway so let´s return to square one.
