Well that sure was some thing. The things that matters. Points go up three. We climb three places in the league. Goal difference goes up by 2. Goals scored up by 5. They are all worth more than a clean sheet.

Strange game. Not at our best by a long shot but Sterling was excellent once again and Suarez and Sturridge look set to continue in the same vein as before. We have a hell of an attacking lineup.
Wow. Just wow. At the end of the day, it was all about the result. And we got it! We finally got that elusive win and scored 5 in the process!! SAS are back! I was a big defender of Cissokho but I can;t defend him anymore. Looks unbelievably slow and was outclassed and outpaced by Adam! I think this particular game sums up our season perfectly - a world class attack that has carried this team. The dross behind need replacing!
In terms of the league yes... but in terms of confidence for our defence then no. If you start conceding 2 goals every game it's putting a hell of a lot of pressure on your forwards to score goals to win you games. If you're keeping clean sheets then you know you only need to score 1 to win. League titles are won by sides with a solid defence.. think all bar 1 of the winners have had the best defensive record in the league in recent years.
True, was only really thinking of Liverpool players to be honest. Adam played well, although I reckon I could have played well being up against Cissokho a lot of the time
You're probably right... but they kept up that pressure on our defense... they never stopped pushing us and never stopped trying. We got 5 goals but one was from a penalty that would only be given half the time. One was a deflection from a ball going way out ... and one was a stupid error gifted us by stoke. We're lucky there. Our defence is our weak area though. Cissoko is nowhere near good enough. Johnson is not at his best... he got the ball into the box a lot... but never to our players. Skrtel is a penalty waiting to happen. Toure wasn't his best.
defence needs to be seriously looked at they were woeful today,luckily our attack won us the game. johnson was imo the worst of the bunch get rid please brendan.
That was like playing that team of charging rhinos and elephants off Bedknobs And Broomsticks. Henderson's worst game for a while - were him and lucas playing swapped positions in the first half? Johnson was gash in the first half, but better in the second. Cissokho doesn't have the class, Mings is just not secure - how many times did he punch when he could have caught the ball? - and Coutinho ran out of steam again. thought Sterling was ****ing sound though; little bugger gets stuck in, eh? Never a pen though - not that I thought Sterling dived, but I wouldn't have given it. We are **** defending crosses, aren't we? Oh, and Studge back. sweet.
