Another yellow for a rash challenge. Could be our downfall if we keep accumulating suspensions.

Milner coming on. The curse of Toon Old Boys scoring against us? I hope not.

Lucky to still be on pitch. Calm down and score a goal, that will hurt Chitty more than kicking them off the (Wonga) park.

We've really been good 2nd half...that was a poor challenge right there from our makeshift right back... but welcome break.

Gouffran completely outwitted again. Lucky to get away with it.

We could really do with a textbook 'Hart Howler' today. I'll try to send him a Jedi mind trick.

Oh well - a 2nd was always on when we were pushing. Nothing to be ashamed of though, a cracking performance. Haven't seen a single commentator (not including the 'experts' on some other boards) who hasn't said the offside decision as a shocker but you have to be big enough to take it on the chin. Only the little clubs get a complex about the refs. Overall we're heading in the right direction!

Why do we always lose 0-2 to City at home? And when was the last time we scored a goal from open play against them?

That's the one positive from this defeat. It hopefully sets them up for the next match.

We gave City a good go, got the lads fired up and the fans cheering them on. Could have even come away with a point if Remy had been in better form.

Would have been very different if we'd performed poorly or waved a white flag on the way to a thrashing.

Hats off to Willo and Saylor. I had real concerns about those two, but all in all, I thought they had a good game. Midfield worked tirelessly too.
