    with only half a strong season under his belt (josh mcquoid anyone?) and a suspect injury record it's hard to believe someone would meet burnley's likely valuation. I would think they are bolstering their promotion effort to better their chances of keeping him in the summer.

    that said, from all the noises out of bournemough ings was always thought to be talented, while mcquoid came as a surprise, so i'm sure fitness permitting he'll continue to do well.

    We never got further then contacting Banega this time round. Guessing the reported fee and massive wages put us off? Can't see us even attempting a bid at them prices.

    only number I can find is £20m which is probably too much for january after our summer dealings but not out of the price ranges we've been linked with lately. don't know about the wages. yes we'd probably be blown out of the water.
