I'm hearing from a work colleague who supports Leeds Utd that Zenden has signed for Leeds on a one year contract, with the option of a second year, subject to passing a medical.

If true, I wish him all the best and thanks for the memories.

Should we have kept him? I think so....

Deffo should have kept him, he gave us something we didn't have, a midfielder who could score goals. He'll do well for them and he'll get the playing time we couldn't offer him.

I nicked the same rumour of the Leeds board 4-5 days ago, seems their source is better than ours?

There's no evidence for this other than a Sun report which seems to have been inspired by unreliable Twitter gossip and a post on another messageboard. Wouldn't read too much into it yet, but it's promising that we're being linked with an actual Premiership quality player (or so it seems from your responses at least!)

I hope its true for 2 reasons,

    1. I dont want to go to a prem team for selfish reasons, he would come back to bite us.
    2. Its a good move for Bolo, Leeds are still a big club and he deserves a big club.

Should we have kept him, I know what you are saying but dont see how we could keep him, we wanted to but we could never have promised he games he needed and wanted.

Another of my reasons for my doubts about Bruce.
A quality player who could change games in an instant.
Ok not the fastest or fittest, but to me had at least 70 minutes in him.
Should have started more games, then when we were comfortable he could have been subbed as his legs gave out.
Not sure whether it was just me, but when he did come on as a sub he seemed to lift the team.
I would have preferred him to lift them from the start not the last few minutes though.

If this is true, any contract signed between us and Leeds surely has see us pick up royalties if the Zenden Dance comes out to play!!

To be honest, he's served a purpose for us and I think it's time to finish off his career doing what he wants to do, playing week in week out. SAFC are never going to be able to offer him a guarantee of that surely.

yes we should have kept him but good luck to him. Leeds or any other team will be better off while he's in their side, quality player

He'll be a perfect signing for the championship IMO experience and still has legs to take him through 90 minutes. Good luck to him!

Could he play a full 40 odd games do you think or would we need to rest him half of the time?

Cant see him doing full games.
But whilst he is on the pitch he will make a difference.

If true great always liked Bolo still think we should have kept him as a player coach another crap decision forced or unforced.
