I hadn't thought about complaining but I think you're onto something there. I have to go to a lot of matches on my own nowadays but normally I find I can chat to fellow supporters during the matches. Today I just felt angry, the day was pretty much ruined and I was more or less forced to spend the match in absolute silence. 180 mile round-trip for that!

Think I'll be sending them a strongly worded email tomorrow - thanks for the suggestion.

Didsbury, any chance you can mention that a City fan that has over the years brought many Dutch supporters to the Tigers asked about a block booking of tickets and got no help at all from the Club. Surely City fans come before away fans?

Right. The name doesn't ring a bell, tbh, but the events do.

I always thought we had Home fans and and an Away fans sections - just like every other club in this country (except Fulham).

I don't understand why the stewards and police allowed these Chelsea fans to be in there with colours.

Is that a Neutral section now?

If a Home fan gets into a row with an Away fan in there, are they both equally entitled to be in there?

It just shows what tinpot 'security' we have at the KC.

    Fortress my arse.

It's got demotivated min wagers in XXXL hi viz jackets supervised by dimbo 'senior' stewards.

It's more like Sgt Bilko's Camp than a Fortress.

    There is.

It's just that our slack, dumb, cowardly stewards/police don't enforce it.

Is there anyone responsible for this at the club that a dialogue could be started with?
Seems to me if they have a ban it should be the easiest thing for the fans to insist it is enforced and that the stewards are told to do their jobs.

All these clowns that say a person who supports "the other team" should only sit in the "away end" make me laugh. The world game is full of Neanderthals of the highest order. As I have stated on this forum before, here in Australia we can go to a game of AFL with up to 100,000 supporters going and there is no "away end or home end" . There is no segregation and there also is no trouble other than the odd nob getting arrested for being drunk in a public place. It's time for the rest of the world to catch up to us, and the other football codes to get their houses in order

Not really a neanderthal thing. Wh'y should away supporters get precedence over home supporters for tickets? Also, the 'powers' that be insist on empty seats and other controls for segregation, so how can it be both? They already block home fans from walking from the south to the north outside the ground o 'safety' grounds, yet allow away fans free passage in the opposite direction.

Away fans in home areas need a good slap .
Especially ones born in Hull .

I do miss the good old days .

    ------

Hull City to Hull Tigers is a minor name change.

Why the need to insult someone with a different view PLT ????

I'm quite a calm easy going person nowadays .

But I think wrong as it might be if a glory hunting Chelsea / Liverpool / Man U ' fan ' was sat next to me in the home stand started jumping up and down when there ' team ' scored I'd have a flash back and thump him .....lol

So it shouldn't be allowed....no chance..

I would expect the same reaction if I did it at an away game as well..with me getting a thump .

As the rest of the world sees it the Aboriginals had the Home End, but the Visitors have dislodged them and put them in the Away End.

it's not only in England its the world over. As far as the tribal bit goes thats just bullshit, its just inbred violence to a certain majority of people who are old enough to know better….but you wouldn't understand that ;)

And continue to treat them like ****. It's almost an unofficial apartheid down there.

I much prefer Blighty. Much more civilized here.
