Morning all! Just thought of a good anecdote. I went to Ipswich-Blackburn, FA cup 3rd round with an Ipswich-friend (can't remember the year?). 0-0 and really awful, but at the end of the game they read out the other scores: Tranmere 0-1 QPR! I celebrated (as you do) and a bloke said to me, "blimey, you must really hate Tranmere" to which I replied "yeah, ****ers". So we both went away smiling after an awful match. That's what supporting football is all about. Enjoy the game today!

Yes Dave, happy to exonerate you from this. I have no beef with you (or Maestro) and never have had. I was just unhappy at having a post 'disliked' (by, obviously then, another mod)when all I was doing was complaining about the matchday thread starting with 'Hughton Out' (I mean, we have enough of that crap on every other thread - it's like the fun has been sucked out of the place). Hardly what I'd expect from a mod, it's not as if I've been difficult over the years, is it? Sod being judged in that way. I have a wife who performs that role very well. Like I said, I'll continue to read the few posts that aren't complaining about the manager (**** knows what some of these people expect), as there are some very decent guys on there.
